Key Responsibilities
The Administrative Assistant will be responsible for providing efficient administrative and office support. Duties include:
Arrange and coordinate seminars, conferences and other meetings or events
Open and distribute incoming mail and other materials
Supervise and train other workers as required
Record and prepare minutes of meetings, seminars and conferences
Determine and establish office procedures and routines
Schedule and confirm appointments
Answer telephone calls and relay calls and messages
Respond to electronic enquiries
Compile data, statistics and other information
Oversee the preparation of reports
Order office supplies and maintain inventory
Arrange travel, prepare itineraries and make reservations
Greet visitors and direct them to appropriate contacts or service areas
Set up and maintain manual and computerized filing systems
Type, review and proofread correspondence, forms and other documents
Perform data entry
Provide professional customer service
Maintain and manage digital databases
Perform basic bookkeeping duties
