About the Role
Job description
Must have 3 years A-Z verifiable experience.
Operate and drive tractor trailer combination to pick up and deliver various products.
Ensure vehicle is in working condition and basic maintenance is done if needed.
Operate vehicle in a safe manner, obeying all rules of the road.
Complete drivers end of day check-in with the coordinator to ensure all invoices are signed, all returns are processed by a receiver and paperwork is handed in.
Perform pre-trip and post trip inspection of vehicle.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Truck Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for aggregate hauling safely and efficiently to various locations. This role requires a strong commitment to safety, excellent driving skills, and the ability to manage unit effectively. The Truck Driver will play a crucial role in ensuring timely deliveries while adhering to all transportation regulations.
Responsibilities
• Operate trucks in a safe and efficient manner, following all traffic laws and regulations.
• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure it is in good working condition.
• Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including logs of hours driven and mileage.
• Communicate effectively with dispatchers and other team members regarding delivery schedules and any issues that may arise.
• Manage the maintenance of the truck, including minor automotive repairs when necessary.

Educational /Technical Experience:
· High school diploma or GED.
· Valid AZ License and Clean abstract and CVOR.
· Ability to lift and carry heavy merchandise exceeding 50 lbs. on a regular basis.
· Must be flexible to work various shifts including days, afternoons, weekends, evenings and holidays as required.
· Excellent organization, communication and customer service skills.
· Good command of the English language, written & verbal.
Skill and Knowledge Requirements:
· Working knowledge of safe lifting methods.
· Able to work efficiently as a part of a team as well as independently.
· Attention to detail in all areas of work.
· Good organizational, time management and prioritizing skills.
· Strong work ethic and positive team attitude.
